Alicia has served as the Office Manager of Cardiac Center of Texas since April 2010.  Alicia comes to us with over 20 years experience in the healthcare industry in the areas of radiology, neurology, orthopedics and cardiology.  Prior to joining Cardiac Center of Texas, Alicia served as the Administrator of several outpatient diagnostic imaging centers.  Alicia is supremely patient-driven and guides her team to ensure that each patient receives the utmost in care.  Alicia promotes a strong commitment to individualized treatment and is proud to be a part of a leading team in Cardiology.

Kelly is a native Texan with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas and a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern.  Kelly performed her internship with Dr. Khan and developed a strong background in cardiology.  She is passionate about preventative medicine and enjoys taking time to explain testing, procedures and the underlying pathology of the disease process in order to increase patient success.  Kelly has been a devoted volunteer at health fairs and clinics providing medical care to help those without insurance or primary care. While volunteering, Kelly was able to practice her medical Spanish and conversational skills, which may be beneficial to our patients who do not speak English as their primary language.

Wendy Serrano-Gilbert comes to us from Connecticut with over four years of medical experience in Ear, Nose & Throat as well as General Surgery, Oncology, and Orthopedics.  Wendy graduated from Stone Academy in June 2006 with 1st Honors making the Dean’s List.  She is fluent in both English and Spanish.  Wendy handles appointment scheduling, phones and much more.  She joined our team in 2010 and enjoys patient care.
